Festival concept

The Textile Plus Festival is an inspiring, stimulating and imaginative event, which offers everything for handicrafts. During the festival textile is central. In addition, craftsmanship and art are sources of inspiration for everyone who loves handicrafts!

The Textile Plus Festival focuses on a high-quality and wide range of handicraft materials and supplies. You will find everything for quilting, patchwork, knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing, felting, spinning, weaving, bobbin lace, beads, buttons, jewellery and fashion. The Arts & Crafts market completes this range with an original assortment of selfmade, handmade, handpainted and artisan made materials, products, clothing, accessories and textile art.

The Textile Plus Festival represents a well-balanced, overall and unique experience. An extensive program is put together, consisting of a wide variety of workshops and demonstrations, lectures, fashion shows and stimulating performances. Also, you will definately get inspired by the Greatest Textile Art Exhibition in the Netherlands with exhibitions by national and international professionals.

Visitor numbers

In 2011, the Textile Plus Festival was organized for the first time in Arnhem with 40 market stalls with handicraft materials and 1,700 visitors. In the meantime, the event has grown intensively with over 120 stands and market stalls.  In 2019, as many as 6,500 visitors found their way to the Textile Plus Festival in the Brabanthallen Den Bosch!
